After two pre-parties in Minnesota, Lucas' 7th birthday finally arrived (June 16th). We started the celebrations the night before by going out to Five Guys. On Lucas' birthday, he wanted to go to the zoo in the morning. In the evening, we had a party at our house. We invited kids Lucas' age as well as their families to come over to swim and have cake. Stan of course came, we also invited Ty (who lives in our neighborhood just a few houses away) and to get to know some families in the ward, we invited the kids in Lucas' primary class. I didn't get any pictures at the party, but everyone had a good time and it was fun to get to know some more people. I can't believe Lucas is 7 already - he really does seem so grown up, and now it's less than a year before he will be baptized! He's such a great big brother and is always watching out for Matias and Nicolas who are constantly getting into mischief. Here are the pictures we took of his birthday!

the boys probably spend more time in our front yard than back yard because they love riding bikes and now Lucas riding his scooter
he was SO happy on his scooter!
I love that the streets are safe enough for the kids to ride their bikes in the street too
