We experienced another fun day at the Minnesota State Fair. We went with the Ogden's on the last day of the fair this year which is always Labor Day (Sept 7th this year). Even with all of the low attendance predictions because of the economy, they broke attendance records this year! It certainly did feel crowded -- but we still had fun seeing lots of animals, going on the Big Slide, taking the kids to "Little Farm Hands," watching a Lumberjack show, eating corn, cheese curds and drinking lots of fresh milk, and taking the kids on a few rides. I can't believe we'll probably only go to the Fair one more year because the year after that we'll most likely be wherever Zeke gets a job...crazy to think about that.

Zeke and Mitch took the boys to "Little Farm Hands" - always a favorite and a must for the kids; the kids do lots of chores like what they would do on a farm, and then they can trade the 'money' they earned in for food or a toy at the General Store at the end; this year Lucas and Matias picked out a "Sleep Number" sheep
