Our good friends the Mortensen's unexpectedly got to go home to Utah for Christmas and they were nice enough to offer us their Grease tickets as well as tickets to the Gophers basketball game. How awesome! We went to Grease Tuesday night (the 30th) and then Wednesday morning (New Year's Eve) we got to see the Gophers play Michigan State at "The Barn" as it's known. Grease was so much fun and the game was really great to watch even though we went into it undefeated and then lost.
If you blow up the picture, you can see that the floor is raised - notice the players sitting below the floor while on the bench; kind of random - I don't know why it's like that
The half-time show was amazing! This acrobatics/gymnastics team put on a show - the flips and tricks they did were crazy and a lot of fun to watch
