On August 28th, we went for a hike at Hyland-Bush-Anderson Lakes Park Reserve in Bloomington. I first discovered the area in the Spring when we had a MMC concert down in Shakopee. It's a pretty large reserve and in addition to hiking trails, it also had a fun children's play area called "Chutes and Ladders." It was a beautiful day and the mosquitoes weren't too bad. We definitely want to go back again!

our hike took us around this lake
beautiful flowers (and a cool bumblebee in the flower below)
Nicolas started out at my back but wanted to see better so I switched him to the front
at the playground
Lucas is in the red shirt climbing up all the rope ladders
Matias and Lucas climbing up some stairs
coming down a chute!
