We got to our vacation home in Winter Harbor, Maine on Sunday, July 11th, just in time to watch the World Cup Finals. My nephew Samuel is really into soccer right now and is a die hard Spain fan, so we were very excited about Spain's win over Netherlands!
On Monday, (July 12th) we drove to Acadia National Park to go on a short hike and spend the afternoon at Sandy Beach. We brought lunch to have at the beach. Zeke and I brought some yummy leftover pizza from the night before. I had only eaten a few bites and was just sitting there when all of a sudden from behind, a seagull swooped down, knocked my head, grabbed my pizza and flew off with it! Tito saw it all happen and was laughing so hard. I couldn't believe it! It totally freaked me out and worse, I still was hungry and wanted my pizza! Those seagulls were too used to scavenging food.
