More August Adventures

hiking at Castlewood State Park
August 20th

it had beautiful views of the Meramac River

Jonas slept the whole time

sitting down for a snack break

Nicolas was a great hiker

love the view from here too

 

the boys favorite part of the hike was hearing and seeing trains!
the trail took us under the train tracks and looped back to the parking lot

going through the tunnel

spending the morning at the Magic House (the Children's Museum in St Louis)

August 23rd

the boys had a lot of fun exploring

a future pianist? i hope so!

this was definitely Matias' favorite spot of the day

later that evening we went to the boys' favorite park - Beirne Park (we go here a lot!)

Lucas and Matias had fun chasing each other

Jonas was happy just to hang out in the car seat

I'm impressed at the slides Nicolas will go down by himself already

Erik and family stopped by again on their way home

August 27th

they were only able to say a few hours in the morning before driving the rest of the way home
Matias, Lucas, Matthew and Daniel didn't waste anytime playing in the basement!

it was fun to see Michelle this time

Jonas is a party animal!
I bought this onesie for him when we came to buy our house in St Louis - it was misplaced in
the move which is why I bought the outfit from Costco the night before he was born...

he looks different in this picture for some reason, but it's the first capture of his smiles!
