Christmas Eve and Lucas' first lost tooth

The weather on Christmas Eve couldn't have been more perfect!  It was sunny, in the high 20s and there was lots of fresh snow.  I went out with boys to go sledding and we had such a great time.  Tony was outside with Anthony too so Lucas had fun sledding and playing with Anthony.

I love how excited Anthony is in this picture

see how deep the snow is!

I'm the king of the snow mountain!

the stockings were hung....with care - one day to go until Christmas!

we made sugar cookies in the afternoon and Keating helped us out

Nicolas loved eating the cookies!

Lucas lost his first tooth!  He was excited that both Santa and the Tooth Fairy were going to visit that night

our good friends the Robison's came over for our traditional Uruguayan Christmas Eve dinner - here Nathan and Zeke are cooking the meat to perfection

all ready for our delicious dinner!

we got to act out the Nativity one more time - Lucas was especially excited that Helen could be Mary

 Nathan was our fabulous narrator

we also read the verses about Samuel the Lamanite - Lucas had more fun throwing the arrows (balls) back at Matias! :) Matias is on the floor right by the table

we used a flashlight to make the 'star' appear

the boys got to open one present - Nicolas got a personalized towel from Grandma and Grandpa

Matias opened his present from abuelos and got a fabulous new winter coat!

Lucas opened his present from Karl

It was a fabulous day and the boys went to bed super excited for Christmas morning!
