Parents were invited to come and listen to stories that the kids had been working on. Lucas wrote a story about when he ran the 1k. After everyone shared their story, we walked to the park by the Stone Arch Bridge and had a picnic (Oct 15th)

On Oct 16th, we had free tickets to go to a Family Concert at the Ordway in St Paul; we had a great time enjoying Vivaldi and Piazzolla's "The Four Seasons" and afterwards we walked to Candyland and got a treat

On Nov 5th, we got to go see Robin Hood at the Children's Theatre. The play was performed on their smaller stage, one we've never been to before. It was much more intimate. Before the play started, the homeless in the Sherwood Forest came around the audience peddling for food or money and throughout the play they asked for a lot of audience participation like yelling "Long live Robin Hood" and having some kids come up and participate in a sack race. Our seats were on the front row at the very end of the row and at one point, the actress that played Maid Marian came up to me and gave me my own line to shout out too, which of course I can't remember now but it was something about how the executioner couldn't be found. Zeke had no idea it was going to happen either since he was busy trying to keep Matias entertained, so he was pretty surprised when she introduced my line by saying: "Kendra has something to say!" So much fun. The Children's Theatre is definitely one of the things I'm going to miss the most about living in the Twin Cities.
