Zeke ran his second half marathon on October 25, 2008. He ran the Monster Dash which is held at Lake Harriet and in addition to the half marathon, there is also a 10-mile race, a timed 5k and a 5k called a Fun Run that is not timed. The race is held each year around Halloween and so they also do a costume contest and the Fun Run is very family friendly and has trick-0r-treating stops along the way! Zeke didn't want to dress up but there were some amazing costumes. One of my favorites was two guys running the half marathon that dressed up like the Jamaican bobsled team (picture below)! Zeke did great in his race and Lucas, Matias and I had fun waiting around with our friends Kara and Will who ran the Fun Run together. Here are some pictures and videos from the race.
